TIM BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF LYI ?;1001) DO ORDAIN AS FOLLMUS: SECTION I." P%MXREAS, the Board of Trustees of-.the City of Lynwood did on the 5th day of March, 1924, adopt and approve Ordinance No. 30, entitled "An Ordinance Declaring the Intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood to order the Opening, Widening and Extending of Certain Streets and Alleys in said City of Lynwood ", and i1I1EREAS, thereafter, said Ordinance No. 30 and Notice of the Passage Thereof were duly published and posted as required by law, and WIIF.'.E.a.S, certain protests were filed with the City Clerk of said City, protesting against the improvement described in said Ordinance No. 30, and 3,'.�,EAS,the said Board of Trustees of the Cite of Lynwood deems it advisable to modify and change the improvement described in said Ordi- nance No. 30, NOW, THEE=E 0RE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of said City of Lynwood that said Ordinance ido. 30 and all proceedings had there- under be hereby repealed and abandoned. SECTION II. That the public interest and necessity require and that it is hereby found and determined that the public interest and necessity require, and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lyn- wood to order the following improvement to be made in said City, to -wit: D First: That Peach Street and South Peach Street be opened, widened and extended in said City,of Lynwood from the northerly line and its extension easterly of Lot 37, Block 22 of I:IOdjeska Park, as per map of same recorded in Book 9, Pages 142 and 143 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California, to the northerly line of Beachwood Avenue and from the southerly line of South Los Flores Boulevard to the norther- ly line of Lynwood Road. That the land necessary and convenient to be taken for the im- provement above described in Section II (heading First thereof), is sit- uate in the City of Lynwood, County of -Los Angeles, State of California, and is more particularly described as follows, to -wit: 2 Lot 37, Block 22, aforesaid I"odjeska Park; Lots 37 and 38, Block 21, aforesaid 1 Park; Lots 37 and 38, Block 20, aforesaid 11odieska Par'_; Lots 42 and 43, Block 19, aforesaid Modjeska Park; Lot 43, Block 18, aforesaid Modjeska Para; and that part of Lots 41 and 42 of Block 18, aforesaid Idodjeska Park, described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 42 Block 18; thence south 84 00' east along the northerly line of said Lot 42, Block 18, a distance of 25.00 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 42, Block 18; that point being the point of beginning of a curve concave westerly and,havin� a radius of 608.89 feet, a radial lithe from said point bearing nortn. 00' west; thence southerly along said curve a distance of 129.30 _oat to the end of same; thence south 18° 10' west 1.72 feet to a point in the 11 south line of said Lot 42, Block 18; thence north 84 00' west 25.58 feet along the southerly line of said 41 and 42 of Block 18 to a point which is south 84 00' east 10•.38 feet from the southwest corner of said Lot 41, Block 18; thence north 18° 10' east 7.11 feet to the point of be- ginning,.of a curve concave westerly and having a radius of 583.89 feet, a :4 radial line from said point bearing north, 71° 50' west; thence northerly ` along said curve a distance of 123.99 feet to the point of beginning. -2- i That part of Lots 31, 32, 33, 34 and 39, of Tract No. 2551, as per map recorded in Book 24, Pages 78, 79 and 80 of Maos, Records of Los Angeles County, California, lying west of the following described line: Beginning at a point in the easterly prolongation of the north- erly line of Lot 37, Block 22, of said Itodjeska Park, distant south 84 00' east 3.00 feet from the northeast corner of said Lot 37'; thence south 6 west, parallel with the west line of said Lots 31, 32, ',3 and 39, of said Tract i ?c. 2551, to the south line of said Lot-39.'. That the land necessary and convenient to be taken for the im- provement above described in Suction II,(heading Second thereof) sit- uate in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, and is more particularly described as follows, to -wit: The westerly 40.00 feet of Lots 581 and 600 of Tract No. 2551, as Der map recorded in Book 24, Pages 78, 79 and 80 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California. Third That an alley 20.00 feet in width, lying approximate- ly along the easterly boundary line of the City of Lynwood be opened, widened and extended in said City of Lynwood from the southerly line of Beechwood .Avenue to the northerly line of that certain alley lying along - the southerly line of Lot 354 of Tract No. 2551, as per map recorded in Book 24, Pages 78, 79 and 80 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, Cali- forma. -3- t a That the land necessary and convenient to be taken for the im- provement above described in Section II, (heading Third.thereof), is sit - . uate in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, and is more particularly described as follows, to -wit: A strip of land 20.00 feet wide, being the easterly 20.00 feet of Lots 195, 277, 278 and 353, of Tract No. 2551, as per map recorded in Book 24, Pages 78, 79 and 80 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California. Fifth That Oak Avenue be opened, widened and extended in said City of Lynwood from the southerly line of Burton Avenue to the northerly line of Euclid Avenue.
