An Ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lyn-
wood, Cal., repealing and annulling Section 10 of Ordinance
No 40, and adding thereto certain Sections to be known as
Sections 10 and 10 --
The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood does ordain as fol-
lows:
Section 1: That Section 10 of Ordinance No 40 of the City of
Lynwood passed and approved on the 25th day of June, 1924, is hereby
repealed aria annulled.
Section 2: That there is hereby added to Ordinance No 40 a Sec-
tion to be known as Section 10, said Section specifying as follows:
"Every person engaged in the business of a plumbing contractor, Or
contracting for the installation of electrical wiring, shall pay a
license fee of Forty ($,40.00) Dollars annually, payable quarterly in
advance."
Section 3: That there is hereby added to Ordinance No 40 a Sec- '
tion to be known as Section lOz said Section specifying as follows: /
"No person shall engage in plumbing or electrical work in connection
with construction of buildings in the City of Lynwood unless licensed
so to do by said City. This shall not apply to owners doing their own
work where no other person is employed; or to persons working under
the direct supervision of a licensed contractor licensed by the City
of Lynwood. The installation of plumbing or electrical fixtures is
hereby deemed to come under the provisions of Section 10."
Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in The Lynvrood
