AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF LYIMDOD
PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION OF TEE DI 9'RIBUTION.OF WRITTEN OR PRINTED OR
PARTLY rtITTEN'AND PARTLY PRINTED MATTER WITHIN THE SAID CITY.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby declared to be a nuisance and unlawful
for any person, firm or corporation, as principal, agent, employee or other -
raise, to offer or distribute to any person, firm or corporation not soliciting
or paying for the same, any tickets, cards, hand -bills or other literature
or printed or written, or partly written and partly.printed matter within the
corporate limits of the City of Lynwood.
Section 2. Any person, who shall'violate any of the provisions of
this ordinance, shall be guilty of a' misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof
shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Three Hundred.($3b0.00) Dollars,
or by imprisonment in the city jail of the city of Lynwood or County j ail "of
the County of Los Angeles, for a period riot exceeding three months, or both.
Section 3. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordin-
&nee is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, in violation of-law , or
inoperativq, such decision shall not af£ect'the validity of the regaining porti n
of this ordinance. The Board of Trustees of the City of LymTood Hereby declares
that it would have passed this ordinance each and every section, sub - section ,
sentence,.clause or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or mor
other sections, sub - sections; :sentences, clauses or phrases be declared unconst -
tutional, in violation of law or inoperative.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certifiy to the passage _of th
ordinance and shall cause the same to by published once in the ^= �fFF`:°D: ..

of Lynwood and hereby designated for that purposo; this ordinance shall be in f
force and effect thirty days from and after the date of publication thereof.
