THE CIXTY CLERK, THE CITY MARSHAL, AND THE CITY TREEASURER OF SAID CITY OF LYNWOOD" BY REPEALING AND ANNULLING SECTION I OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 5 3, AND INSERTING A UEC'iION TO BE IKIOWN AS "SECTION I ".TU 6 THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES ORDAIN AS 7 FOLLOWS 8 SECTION I. That Section I of Ordinance No. 3 entitled " An 9 ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the city of Lynwood, California, prov- 10 aiding for'official bonds of certain City Officers, and fixing the amount z 11 of such bonds, and also fixing the salary of the City Clerk, the City Marshal, 12 and the City Treasurer of said City.of Lynwood" be repealed and annulled and 13' that a section to be known as "Section I" be inserted to read as follows: 14 "Section 1. That the City Clerk, the City Treasurer and the City 16 Marshal be and they are each respectively required to execute to 16 the City of Lynwood:official bonds in the following penal sums, 17 I to -wit: 16 1 The City Clerk in the Penal sum of One Thousand Dollars (yJ,000.00); 19 The City Treasurer in the penal sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars 20 050,000.00); 21 The City Marshal in the penal sum of One Thousand Dollars, 22 1 (x1 23 'i Section 2: ArW and all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict I 24 with the provisions of this Ordinance or inconsistent herewith are hereby 25 ilrepealed. 26 SECTION 3: If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this 27 Ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, in violation of law, 2 8 for inoperative, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining 29 ('portion of this Ordinance, The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood hereby 30 l that it would•have passed this Ordinance and each section, subsection, 31 Its entence, clause, or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that any one mr more other sections, sub - sections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared constitutional,. in violation of the law or inoperative. :I l Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage'of this 2 Ordinance, and to its approval by the President of the Board of Trustees, and 3 i shall cause the same to be published office in the Lynwood Tribune, a weekly news 4 4 I ppper of general - circulation published in the City of Lynwood, and thirty 6 days thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect, 8 I: Passed and' approved this day of •,/fjf��,. ; 1926. -+_ q ma y w,, President of the Boar of" ffi9' Trustees of the City of LAwood.' s 10 A T-TEST e� rk or-the City of Lynwood. a r I, V.
