AND ANNULLING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 24 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD
3 OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY O_F:L`iNVOOD, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE COIeFNSATION OF THE
CITY I'AP.SHAL AND.TRAFFIC REGULATOR, OR REGULATORS, THE WATER SUPIi:RINTENDUT AND
4 THE CITY RECORDER; ALSO ANNULLING SECTIONS OR PORTIONS OF SECTIONS OF ORDINANCES
NOS. 3 AND 14 OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ".

THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES•OF THE CITY OF LYMMOD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 24 entitled: "An Ordinance

of the Board of Trustees of the City of-Lynwood, California, fixing the compensa-

tion of the City..I3arshal and Traffic Regulator, or regulators, the Water .
Superintendent and.the City Recorder, also annulling'Sections.or Portions of

Sections of Ordinances Nos. and 14 'of the City of Lynwood" is hereby repealed

and annulled.

Section 2: Any and all. Ordinance or parts of Ordinances in conflict
13
vith,the provisions of this Ordinance.or inconsistent herewith are hereby
14
repealed.

Section 3: If any section, sentence; clause or phrase of this Ordinance
16
is-for-.any reason held to be'unconstitutional, in violation.of lav,_or inoperative
17
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this
18 , ..
Ordinance. The Board'off Trustees of the City,of Lynwood hereby declares that it

would have passed this Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence;,clauso,
20 ,
or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more other sections,

sub-sections, -sentences, clauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional, in

violation of the law or inoperative.

Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage this

Ordinance, and.to its approval by the President of the Board of Trustees, and
26
shall cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Tribune a weekly
26
newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Lynwood, and thirty
days thejZau ;er- the same shall be in full force and effect.
