1.EXECUTIVE SESSION (ROOM 211)
i. EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES (ACTION)
The Board will consider approving executive session minutes:
12/17/13
ii. CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, LITIGATION AND REAL PROPERTY
●To discuss the deployment of security personnel or devices, or strategies with
respect to emergency communications and the 2014 Boston Marathon;
●To discuss strategies with respect to collective bargaining updates by the Town
Manager, because an open meeting may have detrimental effects on the
bargaining positions of the Board;
●To discuss considering the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property in
regards to a property on Lumber Street, Main Street and Ash Street, because an
open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the
Board;
●To review Assessment Center test for Police Chief applicants with Public Safety
Consultants, LLC and the Town of Hopkinton’s Police Chief Search Committee,
because an open meeting may have a detrimental effect in obtaining qualified
applicants.

3.i. GIFT (ACTION)
The Board will consider approving one (1) donation from Flora Busconi totalling
$20.00 to the Hopkinton Ambulance Fund.
ii. MINUTES (ACTION)
The Board will consider approving the following public session minutes:
a. Appropriation Committee Appointing Committee minutes for December 17, 2013.
6:45 PM MARATHON NUMBERS (ACTION)
4.The Board will continue its discussion on distributing the Marathon Numbers relative
to the allotment given to the Police Department.
7:00 PM WELLNESS PRESENTATION (DISCUSSION)
5.The Board will hear a brief presentation from Youth Services Department Director,
Jena Vazza, and Bruce Elliott, Wellness Teacher at Hopkinton Public Schools, will give
a short presentation on the results of a recent wellness survey in the MetroWest
Region.

7:20 PM WSAB ENTERPRISE CLASS II LICENCE APPLICATION (ACTION)
6.Pursuant to MGL Chapter 140, section 58, the Board will consider approving a Class II
License for WSAB Enterprise.

7:40 PM PENNY MEADOW LANE AGREEMENT (ACTION)
7.Pursuant to Board action on December 17, 2013, the Board will consider an agreement
with the residents of Penny Meadow Lane regarding plowing the
private common driveway.
8:00 PM LIBRARY FOUNDATION UPDATE (DISCUSSION)
8.The Board will hear a brief update from the Library Foundation on Library project.
8:10 PM TOWN POPULATION ESTIMATES (DISCUSSION)
9.Pursuant to MGL Chapter 138, section 17, the Board will determine an estimate of the
temporary increased resident population for the purposes of establishing a quote of
seasonal package store goods licensed under MGL Chapter 138, section 15.
