Section Five. It shall be unlawful for any rerson, firm or corporation to sell, offer for sale, give away or otherwise dispose of any vegetables, fruits or other food intended for human or animal consumption which have been exposed to or sprayed or treated with any poisonous substance from which such poisonous substance has not been removed. ,)ection ''even. Section Nine. Section Fifteen. All machinery, apparatus, and pipes used in the process of manufacturing food shall be so constructed and equ_ip�;ed as to prevent oil, waste, dust, dirt, or other foreign matter from entering or contaminating any food, food ingredients , or food products. Every operator, employee, or other person ergaged in the production, preparation, manufacture, packing, storing or sale of any food or drink products shall wear washable outer blcthing anti cap and siich outer clothing and cap shall be in a cleanly condition at all times. -71- Sec 'ion ,jixteen. Section Tuenty. Any erson or corporation who or which requires or occasions the performance of work or service covered by the 7_ ovisions of this ordinance shall file with the Health Of- ficer the co, name and address of such establishment, either as owner, J or r�.anager, together . - rith a request for a permit therefor. If, upon investigation, the 1�roposed location be you} d to be suitable for such purpose and in _roper sanitary con- dition according to the ordinances of the City of Lynwood and the rule;, and regulations �jf the United Sta tes and the State of California -4- - -pith reference to plumbing, watex supply, ventilation and cleanliness th3 Health Office shall issue to such applicant a yermit for such es- tablishment. "ithout such permit it shall be unlawful for any per- son, lirm or corporation to open or maintain any establishment in which :food is handled or served in the manner described in this or- oinance. Section Twenty -one. Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any of the Lrovisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five Hundred Dollars (:'500.00) or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section Twenty -Two. All or parts of crdinances in conflict here : i th are hereby revealed. Action Twenty- Three.
