The Board of 'Trustees, no. known as the City Council of

ty of Lym7ood, does ordain as follows, to -wit:
Section 1, lifter this Ordinance takes effect it shall
R:e the duty of each f:erson, firm, association or cor oc-
cupying and controlling, either as tenant or owner, any dwelling
house, store or other structure in said Lynwood where any garbage,
tin cans or empty bottles may exist by reason of the use of such
dwelling house, store or other structure by such person, firm, as-
sociation or corporation, to ylace, or cause to be placed, such
garbage, tin cans and empty bottles, in receptacles, in the ,..anner
following:

cans of sufficient size to contain the same; and, in the cage of
residence, t each week, such person, firm, association or cor-
poration shall :lace such can and contents out upon or near the
curb of the str.,�et adjacent and opposite to such duelling house

moved by the City of Lynwood, in the manner hereinafter - provided.

which relate to garbage from residences shall, except as to the

in a, suit=able receptacle all tin cans and empty bottles once a
moth, and shall -.lace such receptacles and contents out upon or
near the curb of the street adjacent and opposite to such dT.relling

inafter provided.

z,ection 2. The City of Lynwood shall annuall contract
with some responsible person., firm association or corporation to
remove a.nd dispose of all garbage, tin cans and empty bottles; and
such contract shall be let to the lowest responsible bidder after
advertising by w notice inviting sealed +_rolosals or bids therefor;
wash notice shall be - published in the Lyn ^rood Tribune two times, and
shall be signed by the Clerk of the City of Lynwood under direction
of true .3oa -- -d of ' rustees or 'Q.*Lt,7r Council of the said City.
The successful bidder s -hall execute a good and sufficient

bond, _��ayable to said City, signed by a reputable surety Comp-

'ection S. Any violation of this Ordinance shall be
deemed Uo ue a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not exceed-
ing Three Hunured Doylars. A Judgu.ent im a fine may pro-
vide for its collection by imprisonr:.ent in the County Jail of
Los .tinge -e , County, or in the City Jail of the City of Lynwood,
in the manner provided by law.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after its final passage and ap_Froval.
