The Board of Trustees (nor known as the City Council) of the
City of Lyrn:�ood does ordain as follows, to - wit:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 93 of the Ordinances
Of the City of Lynwood, entitled "An Ordinance of the City of
Lynwood providing for the removal from residences and b4siness
houses in said City of garbage, tin cans and empty bottles" is
hereby amended by striking out from said Section 2 the word
"annually" and inserting in lieu of the word so stricken out the
words "at intervals of three (3) years."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediatly
upon its final passage.
Section 3. The reason why this Ordinance is made to take
effect as in Section 2 hereof provided, is because the present
contract referred to in Section 2 is about to expire and the
public welfare requires a three (3) year contract instead of an
annual contract and the health of the people of Lynwood requires
that such contract should be reneged without there intervenine
an interval of time between contracts for the public service
provided for therein. Therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared and this Ordinance is taken out of the Referendum.
Section 4. The Clerk is directed to cause this Ordinance
to be published for one tii*e, after its final 'passage and
approval, in the Lynwood Tribune, which newspaper is hereby
designated for that purpose.
The above ordinance was introduced and read three times, and
finally passed by the said Board of Trustees at a Regular meeting
of said Board held on the 13th day of November, 1928, by the
following vote:
AYES: Trustees - Tweedy, Skelton, Anderson, Greenamyer and Murray.

I, " Chapman, City Clerk of the City of Lynwood, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced and read three
times and duly passed by the Board of Trustees, now known as the
Council of the City of Lynwood, State of California, and signed by
the Mayor at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 13th day
of iovember 1128, and that the same was passed by the above vote:
