Lodging (Tourism) LOT: The Quarterly receipts showed a nice increase bring the quarter totals up to the budgeted amounts, putting us back on track for funding the priority projects. Snow in January and February should help these numbers to remain positive to the budgeted dollars. 2. Licenses and Permits: Licenses: Business – 12 new applications approved this last month / 3 pending applications / 1 denied application / 29 issued in the current fiscal year. (Staff is reorganizing data storage and changing to a fiscal year for tracking, so the issued number reflects all applications approved since October 1, 2019.) Of the business licenses received to date, 2 are vacation rentals. Renewal season ended with 9 businesses who did not renew by the deadline, so compliance enforcement has begun. Education and enforcement are a continuous on-going process. Alcohol – 47 approved holders. Snow Removal Vehicle Decals – 30 snow contractors have received decals and are legal to remove snow. 11 additional contractors have been identified to be contacted for compliance if moving snow inside the city. Permits Processed for 2019: Vendor permits (22); Catering permits (30); Farmers Market permit (0); Fireworks Display (1) Fireworks Stands (0); Animal Drawn Vehicle Permits (1); Public Events (1); Peddlers permits (0) – Numbers reflect permits issued since October 2019. 3.
