Airport Economic Impact:
The Idaho Transportation Department’s Aeronautics Division has released the Final Airport Economic Impact Summary. The report shows that McCall Municipal Airport’s total economic impact
exceeds $65 million annually. The report determined that McCall Municipal Airport supports 336 local jobs, generating $15,652,000 in direct payroll and benefits, and a total of $65,353,407
in regional economic activity. A press release has been created and distributed to inform the community about the Airport’s role in economic activity in the City of McCall, and the
surrounding area.
Taxiway Relocation Project - Construction Safety and Phasing Plan:
90% of construction drawings have been delivered for comment. The date to have “bids in hand” has moved from April 1st to April 8th due to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) project
representative being out of the office.
Schedule of Activities: March 12 – FAA Project Approval
March 12 and 19 – Project Advertisement
April 8th – Bid Opening.
Airport Master Plan:
The agreement with WHPacific for the Independent Fee Review will be considered at the March 12th Council meeting. The IFE is one of the FAA required steps to receive funding for the
Master Plan Study.

Airport Open House:
Planning has begun for the 2020 McCall Airport Open House. The date has been set for Sunday, July 5th to maximize attendance. More information will be forthcoming.
