AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYIr'dOOD
Aj?NDING ORDINANCE NO. 73 OF'SxID
CITY, LICENSING AND REGULATING VARIOUS
BUSINESSES ii? SAID CITY.
..The City Council of the City of Lynwood do ordain as follow :
SF- .CTIOF I. That Ordinance No. 73 of the City of Lynwood
is hereby amended by adding* .a new section thereto 'to be known as
Section 9a and to read as follows:
"SECTION 9a.. Every person engaged in the,husi�ess of oper
ating or conducting' a 'lalsridry 'f or the washinP_ oil laundering of
clothing or wearing apparel or articles of cloth, but riot includ-
ing a laundry in which. all, work .is done by hand or by machines of
the ordinary domestic ty requiring not more than one= qusrter
horse power for ope.ration,, and every � erson engaged ill the `busi-
ness of.soliciting.within said City for the washing or launder-
ing of clothing„ weL�.xing apparel or articles of. cloth, at any
laundry., wilether. such laundry is located outside or inside of the
City•limits of the City of Lynwood, in which.all work is not done
by hand'or by machines of the ordinary domestic type requiring;
not more than one - qua- - rter horse "cower for oaeration, shall Pay a
license fee o f Fifty 050.00) Dol_ars ?der year, payable annually
in adva:nce:
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the City of Lynwood is hereby `di-
rected to cettify to the �- doption of this ordinance and to cause
the same .to be publishe6 once, ,after its final passage c_nd ap
proval, in the Lynwood Tribune, d weekly newspaper printed, .
published and circulated iii said City.
