ORDINANCE OF THE CI'T'Y OF LYNROOD IFIKING
SALARIES OF OFFICERS AND EM11OTEES.

The City Council of the City of Lynwood do ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: That the salaries of officers and employees
of the City, be, and the same are, hereby fixed at the following
maximum amounts:

SECTION 2: For all except elected officers the compen-
sation or salaries fixed in this Ordinance shall "be`deb % d
be the maximum compensation for such officers and employees and
the exact rate of compensation payable to officers and employees,
subject to the maximum limits above specified, shall be fixed by
the Commissioner in charge of the particular department in which
the officer or employee serves, subject, however, to the control

of the City Council.

SECTION 3: the compensation payable to the Chief of
Police, Paptaii7 of Police•and Motorcycle Officers shall be con
ditional on the furnishing by said officers of their own per-
s'onal automobiles on City.business, but - the Pity shall maintain
and furnish supplies for the same.
-SECTION 4: All compensation -shall be payable on she
first and fifteenth of.each month for the previous semi- month-
Ty period, oxcept that the salaries of the City.Clerk, City
Treasurer, Police Judge and Pity ?attorney shall be payable at
the end of each month for the said month.
SECTION 5:_11 ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are, hereby repealed, except that, t'he_ ex=
isting "terms of employment of the Pity Attorney shall remain
in effect.
SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be-effective for
the month of June, 1930.
