3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE dITY OF LYNVIOOD, CALIFORNIA
PROVIDING FOR A LICENSE FOR THE DISTf?IBUTION OF
a ADVERTISEMENTS WITHIN SAID CITY

6 The City Council of the City of Lynwood, do ordain as
ry, follows:
8 SECTION 1 - That it shall be unlawful for any person,
.9 firm or corporation to distribute any handbill, circular, notice,
10 newopaper,lperiodical, shopping news, pamphlet, dodger, or sample,
11 or any other'advertising'device calling or directing attention to
12 any property, article, service, accomodation or other enterprise
13 offered for sale or barter without securing and paying for a
14 license therefor as herein provided; provided, however, that
15 this Ordinance shall not apply to the distribution of any bona
16 fide legal newspaper, as provided in the Statutes of the State of
17 Cilifornia,'and delivered to any regularly paying subscribers
18 thereto, or to the ,delivery of mail, or to advertising by any per -
19 son,'firm or corporation having an established place of business
20 within..the corporate limits of.the City of Lynwood, and paying a
21 business license.for the conduct of such business, as provided by
22 the Ordinances of this City.

24.- SECTION 2- • Application for the license herein pro-

26 therefor the sum of $25.00 per day.

28 SECTION 3 - That any person, firm or corporation violat-
29 ing any, of the provisions.of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty
30 of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction- thereof shall be punished by

32 of the City of Lynwood, California, or in the County.Jail of the
