AN ORDINANCE OF THE 'CITY OF LYNWOODI A112NDING
ORDINANCE N0: 117, R.ELATIb?G 'TO WATER RATES.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood do ordain as
follows:
SECTI01? 1. mhat the last paragraph of Section 6 of Ordinance
No. 117 of the City of Lynwood be amended to 'read as. follews:'
"For every.public school and the irrigation of the
grounds adjacent thereto, the charge shall be at the rate of $6.00
per.nionth for.each elementary school,. and,$lb .00 per month for each
high or junior high school.'"
SECTION 2. That Section- 12 of Ordinance No'. 117 of the City
of Lynvvood be amended by adding thereto a paragraph to read as .
follows:
"Wli6re" the vaater ciiain adjacent to any property' served by
water and the tap or connection thereto was or is installed by any
Person, firm or corporation other than the City of Lymicod, there
shall be no charge for connection,-. provided that the consumer shall
'notify the Water Department in writing two days in advance of
:caking any proposed connection, and shall comply with all require-
ments of the Water Department as to the manner of.making the same,
and unless such'notice is given in writing and such requirements
are complied with, the consumer shall be liable for said connection
charge even though the connection or tap is - installed by the viater
consuMc-r. - -
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and to cause the same to be published
oy one insertion -in.the. Lynwood Tribune, a weekly newspaper published
and i crculated in the City of Lyn
SECTION 4'. -- 'This ordinance shall take effect immediately on
its adoption.
