AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNPIOOD PROHIBITING= THE DIS-
CHARGE OF FIRE MIS IN SAID CITY aT�D FIXING A PENALTY THEREFOR.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF LYPNOOD DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOW
Section 1. It is hereby declared to be a nuisance and it shall
- - " "be unlawful to discharge any fire arms -in -said city except--in-..
that portion of Lot 6 of the Commerce Tract, as per map recorded
in Book 146 of Maps, Pages 49 and 50 in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, lying south of Lynwood Road.
Section 2. This ordinance shall not prohibit the discharge of
fire arms by police officers in.the performance of their duty.
Section 3. Any violation of this ordinance shall be deemed a `
misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of not to exceed
One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or by imprisonment in the City
Jail of said City or in the County Jail of Los .Angeles County
for =a term - not - exceeding-- thirty- (30)--days, or-- by_..b,oth such fine .,_
and imprisonment. A judgment imaosing a fine may provide for
its collection by imprisonment in either of said jails for the
period of one day for each dollar of such fine not paid, until
such fine be wholly satisfied.
