NORTH, IN THE CITY OF LYAP.?OOD, CALIFORNIA.

The City Council of the City of Lynwood, do ordain as fol-
lows, to -wit:-
SE CTION 1 : That there is hereby established a,buildinS_set— __
back line of seven (7) feet on both sides of Long Beach Boulevard,
in the City of Lynwood, from 'ern =rood Avenue on the North to Orchard
Avenue on the South, and from Beechwood Avenue on the South to Cen-
tury Boulevard on the North, and. that between said points on Long
Beach Boulevard no building or structure shall be erected or con -
structed nearer than seven (7) feet from the property line facing pn
each side of Long Beach Boulevard, and the Building Inspector of the
City of Lynwood is hereby directed to issue no building permit to
construct any building nearer than seven (7) feet of Long Beach
Boulevard between Fernwood Avenue and Orchard Avenue, and between
Beechwood Avenue and Century Boulevard.
SECTIOF £: Any violation of this Ordinance shall be a mis-
armeanor punishable by a fine of not exceeding three - hundred dollars
(5300.00) or by imptisonmentf;in the County Jail of Los Angelees County
or inthe City Jail of the City of Lynwood for a term of not exceeding
ninety (90) days,: A judgement imposing a fine may provide for its
collection by imprisonment in either of said Jails in the proportion
of one day for each dollar of the fine until the fine be wholly
satisfied.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its final passage and approval.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Lynwood Tribune, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated within said City of Lynwood and which

is hereby designated for that purpose.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of May, 1931.
