AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYMUOOD'AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 117 RELATING TO WATER RATES.

" he,City Council of .the City of Lynwood do ordain as
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 117 of the City of
Lynwood be amended by adding a new section thereto to be known
as Section 6C and to read as follows:-
"SECTION 6C..,All water consumers who use water for
commercial or irrigation purposes shall be-charged therefor upon
the metered basis as specified in Section`6B hereof. As herein
s
defined, commercial or irrigation use shall be deemed to mean
the use of water that is necessary.or customary in the-manufac-
ture or cleaning or dispensing of.any manufactured.product or
clothing or foodstuff or food or drink, or the use•of water
from any service capable of irrigating or serving any land in
the ownership of the same person, firm or corporation in excess
of 20,000 square feet, whet her' the 'same be in connection with
domestic use or not. Such commercial or irrigation use shall
include the use of water by dentists and automobile washing
establishments. That the charge for all water served to m y
consumer, except, as provided above, at any location in said City
- shall be upon the metered basis as provided in said Section 6B,
unless such consumer at such location shall,,.'at the date this
ordinance becomes effective, have already installed at such lo
cation a water service m d shall be using water through such
service and have paid all bills therefor.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall become effective .
thirty days from publication hereof'.
SE CTION -3: The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood is
directed to certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and to
cause the same to be published, after its final passage and ap-
proval,.once in'the Lynwood Tribune, which newspaper is hereby
