AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LY WOOD FIXING
THE - BATES OF TAXES AIdD LEVYING T AXES FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR 'BEGINNING JULY 1, 1931.
The City Council of the 'City of Lynwood do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of raising the sums of money
necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within
the city limits of the City of Iynwood as the revenue to`carry on the
various departments and functions ' of said City for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1931, the rate of taxes is hereby fixed, and taxes
are hereby levied.on all taxable property within the City limits of
said City, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1931, in the sum of
Eighty -Six Cents ($.86) upon each One Hundred Dollars of the assessed
value of said property as by the County Assessor and equal-
ized
by the
Board
of Supervisors of the County of Los
Ang for the
said

SECTION 2• That for the purpose of raising the sum of money
necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within
the city limits of the City of Lynwood to provide for the payment 'of
the annual interest and that part of the principal as shall become
due before the time for fixing the next generalt ax levy, of those
certain bonds in the principal sum of'$50,000.00 authorized by
Ordinance No. 94 adopted on the ,plat day nfi
October 1927 by the Board of Trustees of said City,
the rate of taxes is hereby fixed, and taxes are .hereby levied on
all taxable property within the city limits of said City, for the
ifiscal year beginning July 1, 1931, in the sum of Fite (Cents 'G$.'05)

ceedings for "Act of 1927 i:- Iunicipal Improvement District No. 1 of
the City of Lynwood,"' to provide for the payment of the interest and
such portion of the principal of`the bonds issued under said pro-
ceedings, as is to become due before the time for making the next
general tax levy, the. -rate of taxes is hereby fixed, and taxes are
hereby levied, in addition to all other taxes levied for municipal
purposes, on all taxable lands, exclusive of improvements, in said
assessment district; for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1931,.in
the sum of One Dollar and Sixteen Cents (41$1.16) upon each One Hundred,
Dollars of the assessed value of said taxable lands, excluding im-
provements, as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the
,Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles for said fiscal
year.
SECTION 4. That for the purpose,of raising the sums of money
necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable lands (not includ�
irig the improvements thereon) to. pay the principal and interest
has become, or will become payable on the bonds of the hereinafter
Acquisition and Improvement Districts in said City, before the pro-
ceeds of another tax'levy can be made available for the payment of
said principal and interest, the rate of taxes is hereby fixed, and
special assessment for.the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1931,
taxes are hereby levied, /in addition to all other taxes levied for
municipal purposes, on all taxable lands, exclusive of improvements,
in the zones hereinafter mentioned in the following Acquisition and
Improvement Districts of said City, as said districts and zones'there-
of v.-ere established by proceedings of said City, in the following
respectively -.
`sums /upon each One Hundred Dollars of the assessed value of said
taxable lands, exclusive of improvements, as assessed by the County
Assessor and equalized by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Loo Angeles for the said fiscal year'.
