® AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE 2000 -4 AN ORDINANCE
DESGINATING STOP INTERSECTIONS
WHEREAS, I.C. 9- 21 -1 -3 grants the City of Greencastle the authority to designate
intersections as stop intersections, which require all vehicles to stop at one or more of the
entrances to the intersections; and
WHEREAS, said statute requires the adoption of an ordinance designating stop
intersections; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle adopted Ordinance 2000 -4 An Ordinance
Designating Stop Intersections setting out all stop intersections within the City of Greencastle;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle wishes to amend said ordinance.
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City
of Greencastle, Indiana:
1. That Ordinance 2000 -4 An Ordinance Designating Stop Intersections is hereby
® amended to add the following stop intersections for the City of Greencastle:
Street Name Intersect with Number of Stop Signs
Shadowlawn Fawnview 1
Fawnview Shadowlawn 1
2. That all other intersections designated in Ordinance 2000 -4 remain in full force and
effect.
