HomeMy Public PortalAbout220 Affidavit of PublicationNOTICE: MEDI NA ORDINANCE NO.220 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- TION 701.33 OF THE MEDINA CITY CODE REGARDING ESTABLISHING SANITARY SEWER RATES FOR EX- TRAORDINARY DISCHARGE SOURCES The City Council of the City of Medina ordains as follows: Section I: The Code of Ordinances of the City of Medina is amended by deleting the ouIrinifww materials and adding the ga-.. derlined materials as follows: 701.33. Rates. Subdivision 1. The following rates and charges for use and service of the sanitary sewer system are hereby established, such charges and, rates to be made against each lot, parcel of land, unit or premises which may have a connection directly or in- directly Into the City sanitary sewer system and which discharges only nor- mal sewage into such system. Subd. 2. Minimum Charges. The minimum quarterly charge whether use Of water is metered or not shall be set by Resolution of the City Council. Subd. 3. Flat Charges. Where The rate is not based upon the metered use of water, quarterly flat charges shall be set by Resolution of the City Council. Subd. 4. Extraordinary Charges. Notwityandingg any other provision of this ordinance to the contrary, the rate for discharge of water from a sump DUMI) or other extraordinary source into ih'" sanitary_sewer system shall be established by Resolution of the City Council, Subd.OLMetered Flow Charges. For all residential premises where the rate is to be based on the metered flow of water, the rate shall be set by Resolu- tion of the City Council. Subd..i.§.0Rate-Industrial Waste and Large Units. On each lot, parcel, premises, or unit not enumerated herein, the use of water shall be metered and the rate shall be the same as that provided in the City Council rate Resolution. Section II: This ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption and publication. Adopted by the City Council of the City of Medina this 2 day of July, 1985.
