ORDINANCE NO. 196
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD PRO—
HIBITING PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES

The City Council of the City of Lynwood do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1 — It is hereby declared to be unlawful for
any person, firm or corporation to allow any motor vehicle,
as said term is defined by the California Vehicle Act, to
remain standing upon any of the following streets in said
City of Lynwood at any location thereon hereinafter set forth
if said portions of streets are painted red on the face and
top of the curbs within the limits above mentioned:
West side of Long Beach Boulevard between lines 15 feet
and 40 feet southerly of and parallel with the south
line of Imperial Highway
East side of Long Beach Boulevard between the south
line of Imperial Highway and a line 30 feet southerly
from and parallel therewith.
West side of Long Beach Boulevard between the north
line of Mulford Avenue and a line 60 feet northerly of
and parallel with said north line of Mulford Avenue.
East side of Long Beach Boulevard between the south
line of Mulford Avenue and a line 48 feet southerly
from and parallel therewith.
South side of Mulford Avenue between the west line of
Long Beach Boulevard and the east line of the first
alley westerly of Long Beach Boulevard.
North side of the north roadway of Fernwood Avenue from
the west line of Lone Beach Boulevard and a o_oint 31
feet easterly therefrom.
East side of Court Street between Mulford Avenue and
Plaza Street
North side of Mulford Avenue between Plaza Street and
Court Street
West side of Plaza Street between lines 100 feet and 140
feet northerly of and parallel with the north line of
Mulford Avenue.
North side of Sanborn Avenue between the west line of
Long Beach Boulevard and the northerly prolongation of
the west line of Plaza Street
West side of State Street between lines 60 feet and 95
feet southerly of and parallel with the south line of
Poplar Drive.

East side of School Street between lines 138 feet and 238
feet southerly from and parallel with the south line of
Lynwood Road
North side of Sanborn Avenue between lines 77 feet and 107 feet
easterly of and parallel with the east line of Locust Street
South side of Cedar Avenue between lines 350 feet and 400 feet
westerly of and parallel with the west line of Alpine Avenue
SECTION 2 Any violation of this ordinance
is he.rebv declared "to be a misdemeanor, and shall be punishable
by a fine of not to exceed $25.00 or by imprisonment in the
City or County Jail for period not to exceed ten days, or by
both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 3— The City Clerk is hereby directed
to certify to the adoption of this ordinance and to cause the
same to be published after its final passage and approval, by
one publication in the LYNWOOD TRIBUNE, a weekly newspaper
published and circulated in said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood this 19th day of April, 1932.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Ordinance was duly adopted by the City Council at a rezular
meeting thereof held in the City Hall of said City on the
19th day of April, 1932, and passed by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEN none.
