AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FIXING THE
iWOUNT OI MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION
TO PROVIDE FOR CARRYING ON THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS
OF MrUNI'GJP.AL GOVERNMENT OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL.
YEAR 1932 -1933 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR
•THE PAY11ENT' OF INTEREST AIM PRINCIPAL OF LMNICIPAI,
AND OTHER BONDED I1;DEBTEDIiESS BECOMING DUE IN SAID
FISCAL YEAR.
The City Council of the City of Iynwood do ordain_ as follows:
SECTION 1. That the amount of money necessary to be raised by
taxation upon the taxable property within the limits of.the City of
L County of Los An g-- les, State of California, to provide for
carrying on the various functions of municipal government in said
City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1932 and ending June 30
1933 is hereby fixed at the such of forty -four thousand eight hundred
dollar
ninety /and fi ?ty -seven cents($44,890.57).
SECTION 2. That the amount of money necessary to be raised'by
taxation upon ' the taxable property w i t hin'the limits' of 'said City' to
provide for the payment of the annual interest and that portion of
the principal as shall become due before,the time for fixing the
next general tax levy of those certain bonds in the .principal amount
of $50,00,0.00 authorized by Ordinance No. 94 adopted on the,lst day
of October, 1927, by the Board of' of-said City, is the
sum of.two thousand,five hundred eighty -two dollars and fifty -nine
cents ($2,,582.59).
SECTION 3. That in addition to the amounts of money necessary
to be .raised as aforesaid, the amount of,,money necessary to be
raised,by taxation upon the taxable lands, exclusive of improvements,
in the assessment district described in the proceedings for "Act of
1927 municipal Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Lynwood,"
to provide for the payment of the interest and such portion of the
principal, of the bonds issued under said proceedings, as is to be-
come due before the time for making the next general tax levy, is

the sum of seven- hundred twenty - three dollars .and_ fifteen'' cents'

($723.15). . .

SECTION 4. That'in addition to the amounts*of money necessary

°to be raised as aforesaid, the amount of money necessary to be

raised by taxation upon_ the' taxab le. 1 and s (not'including the im-

�provements thereon.) to pay the principal and interest which has become

or tivill become. 'payable on the bonus of the hereinafter mentioned

proceeds of another tax levy can be made available for the payment

certify to the adoption of this ordinance and to'cause the same to
be published once, after its final passage and approval in the•"
Zynv, Tribune, a newspaper general circulation published and
printed in said City.
