AN ORDIUANCE OF THE CITY OF LYN ?MOOD pROVIDIING FOR THE
LICENSING OF .DINT VENDING EACHINES I.: TITF CITY OF LYNWOOD.
The Cit.i Council of the City of Lynwood do ordain as
f0llowe:
SECTIO ' I: It shall be unlawful for any per <.cn, firm
or corporation to operate in the City of Lynwoc:`_ any mechanical
vending device for the sale of gum or mints or used in conjunction
with the eale of merchandise without having first obtained a lioen!�e
for t.. ".e in^tallation of the -same from the City Council.
SECTION II: The licence fee to be paid by each person,
firm or corporation engaging in the business of installing machines
or devices ,uch as are mentioned above oha.11 be the gum of 450.00
per month, payable monthly in a;avance, for the firr:t machine or
device :moo in:tallec, and the cut:; of «1.00 per aIonth, i;ayable Lionthly
in a:.?vance, for each c:ubsequent machine or cevi`e c.o in ^talled.
SECTION III: Any geraon, fire; or corporation violating;
any of the provisions of this: ordinance shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof <:hall be punished by a
fine in a rum not exceeding x;300.00 or by imprisonment in the County
jail for a period not exceeding three months, or by both ouch fine
and imprisonment.
SECTION IV: The City Clerk ,, hall certify to the pasoage
of this ordinance an'd cause the same to be published once in the
