The City Council of the City of Lynwood do or:`ain ac_

SECTIO I : _ It shall be unlawful for any person to
carry on, or practice or profess to practi ^_e or carry on, the

card reeding, fortune telling, cartomacy, clairvoyance, clairaudiance,
cyr:'tal gazing or necromancy anc. who :iemandf, solicits or receives a
fee or renumeration for the practice, exercise or exhibition of any
suoh bueiner, ^, art or profeesien, or who given any exhibition or
demonstration thereof at any place where any admission fee is charged
or solicited, without having firz- obtained a license t:. ,r"ctioe
the same in said City and. paid a license fee therefor. Said license
fee i hereby fixed in the sum of ;;300.00 per annum, payable quarter-
ly in advance in installments of 475.00 each.
SECTIOiT II _ Any hereon violating an- of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine in a sum not exceed-
ing ;300.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not
exceeding three months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION III: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in the
Lynwood Tribune, and the came s_.all become effective thirty days
