AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 117, ESTABLISHING WATE.It
RATES AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NUMBERING 207
AND 225 RELATING TO P.?ETER RATES AND 25¢ reBATE.

The City Council of the City of T�ynwood dozOrdain as
follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 6 -B of Ordinance No. 117 of
said City be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 6 -B: For water served through meters, the
charge shall be as follows:
For the first 1500 cubic feet, or fraction
thereof . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 1.25
For over 1500 cubic feet, per 100 cubic
feet, or fraction thereof . . . . . . . . $ 0.05
The above rates shall be subject to a discount of 25
cents if paid on or before the 20th of the month following the
reading of the meter:
SECTION 2: That Section 8 of Ordinance No. 117 of said
City, be and the same is rerehy amended to read a s follows:
"SECTION 8: All flat -rate bills for water shall become
due and payable in advance at the City Hall on the first day of
each month and if paid on or before the twentieth of the month
for which the bill is rendered a twenty -five cent (25�) discount
shall be allowed on all bills. No discount will be allowed on
any current bill for water unless all previous water bills are
paid in full.
SECTIO 3: That Ordinances No. 207 and 225 of said
City of Lynwood be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect June 1st,
1934.
S ECTION 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published once
in the Lynwood Tribune, s iveekly newspaper published and circu-
late' in said City of Lynwood.
