the City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain
as follows:
SECTIOF 1: It shall be unlawful and it is hereby
prohibited for any person, firm or corporation to conduct
any game of faro, monte, roulette, lansquenet, rouge at
noire, rondo, tan, fan -tan, stud -horse poker,seven -and -a
half, twenty -one, hoxey, pokey, tango, or any banking or
percentage game played with cards, dice, or any device, for
money, checks, credit, or other representative of value, and
every person who plays or bets at or against any of said pro-
hibited dames, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con-
viction thereof shall be punished by a fine in a sum not ex-
ceeding :'60 .00, or by imprisonment in the ^ourty ,jail or City
jail for a period not exceeding three months, or by both such
fine and imprisonment.
S:?CTION 2 : That Ordinance 1"o.2z2 and 226 be and they
are hereby repealed.
SFCTIOY 3 : The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the
Lynwood Tribune a weekly newspaper published and circulated in
said City of Lynwood.
