PROHIBITING THE OPERATING OF SLOT MACHINES IN
THE CITY OF LYPTOOD IUTD REPEALING ORDIr. ^,IT"':S NO.
213 216 TD 217 OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.

The City Council of the City of Lynwood, does ordain as
follows:
SECTION i : It shall be unlawful for any person, firm
or corporation to operate in the City of Lynwood any nr. , echanical
vending device for the sale of gum or mints or used in conjunc-
tion with the sale of merchandise, or to operate any machine
comr:only called Slot 11achine where such prize or award is offer-
ed, or where money or other prize is used a an inducement to
play.
SECTION 2: That Ordinances '•;o. 213, 216 and 217 of
the City of Lym, be and they are hereby repealed.
SE'C 3 : Any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty
of a misuemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished
by a fine in a sum not exceeding ;300.00 or by imprisonment in
the County jail for a period not exceeding three months, or by
both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published once
in the Lynwood Tribune a weekly newspaper published and circul-
ated in said City of Lynwood.
