Ar 0?DINA= OF THE CITY OF =700D, CALIFORNIA,
DESIGNATING CERTAIN PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: It shall be unlawful for any vehicle, a- said
term is defined in the CALIFORNIA VEHICLE ACT, to fail to stop before
crossing from Lon? Beach Boulevard in either direction, the portion
of tl roadway of any of the following streets of the City of Lynwood:
n CENTURY BOULEVARD
IldPEftIAL HIG11
LYNWOOD ROAD
LOUISE STREET
1'ULFORD AVENUE
PLATT AVENUE
FERNIV00D AVENUE
clearly indicated for pedestrian crossings by lines or other markings
on the surface thereof, when there shall be a pedestrian in the cross-
ing so indicated., and when there shall be in place at or near said
crossing an appropriate trafiie sign so located as to be plainly vis-
ible at all times to the driver of an approaching vehicle.
SECTION 2: Any violation of this Ordinance shall be a mis-
demeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than Twenty -five
dollars or by imprisonment in the ^,ity or County Jail for a period of
not to exceed ten days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
S,':CCTION 3: That the City Clerk of said ^.ity is hereby di-
rected to certify to the adoption of this Crdinance, and to cause the
same to be published once in the LY7 "OOD PR'_sSS, a weekly newspaper of
7eneral circulation, printed, published '�rd circulated in the City of
Lynwood.
