AN ORDINANCE'OF THE CITY, COUNCIL OF THE.,CITY -OF

•ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF'ZYNWOOD"ON
TUESDAY, THE '14th DAY OF AP?IL," 1936; SUB

WHEREAS, City'Council of the'City of lynwCod; California at ,
a. regularly called'speeial meeting held.on the 26th day of Feb
ruary, 1936 by a, vote of two- thirds of'•its members' duly passed`.'
and adopted a resolution No. ..956,: determining that the publ "ic I.
interest, convenience and necessity demand the 'construction of*
a municipal- improvement, to -wit the construction an r acquisition
of certain` light and power works consisting of a distribution. sys- .
tern for-the transmission and sale,of electricity for ligitLng, heat,
'cower and other purposes including distribution substations,
switchboards,. transformers.and all. other "necessary appurtenances,
..in the City. Lyh wgod, 'and.
I,.WHERBAS the estimated cost of said municipal improvement'is the
sum of ,Two Hundred and, Ninety Five, Thousand;Dollars, and said. cost.
is, and will be greater, than the amount allowed: for, such improvement'
by the .annual tax ` levy and. too great to' „be -paid' out of the ordin-
ary annual' income' and revenue of the City of Lynwood.
NOW,,THEREFORE, The City Council The City of.ly4wood does ordain
as follows:
Section 1 : That'a consolidated municipal election is 'hereby
oalled', and.shall.ba . in the City o' 'Lynwood, on Tuesday, the

14th day.of April 1936 for the object and purpose of .submitting tq.
the qualified voters of "said, City the: ,proposition of, incurring a
' `bonded ' debt.for - the • purVoses set forth in said `resolut on and

Section 2 : That the object and purpose for which said bonded,
• debt'- is'nroposed to be incurred is•.the following 'to- wi't:
The construcifon and /or acquisition.of certain light,and. power ,
works consisting of a' distribution system for the transmission
- and sale= of,eleetricity for. light,. heat, power and
including distribution stations,. switchboards, transformers.and
all other necessary`appurtenances, An the C ity of
Section. That estimated cost of said improvement: above
'described is 'the sum 'of Two Hundred:and`Nine,ty Five Thousand
Dollars and that he amount the principal of the indebt6dness
to be incurred therefor is the sum of Two Hundred.and Ninety Five'"

Section 4: ; For the 'purpose of paying 'the..principal. and
interest of said 'bonds,' the City Council of the City of Lynwood-
shq.11, at.,the time of fixing : 'the general tax levy, and in the
manner Yor such general tax levy provided; °levy and " dol.lect annually "
each year until said bonds are paid, or until there-shall be.a sum,
in the treasury of said ci,ty', set, apart for that. our - nose; to meet

Section 11 : The ItCity Clerk shall'certify••to the passage of

once a, ti?eek for two suecbeding 'weekis; prior to.,the time appointed
'for 'holding. of said election, ;in `the Lynwood a Meekly news-
paper of general circulation, published, 'and' circulated in 'the City
'of Lynwood, the being ' no daily paper published in:said City of. _
Lynwood, and no further notice-of said election need be given.
