DFCLARING THE NECESSITY FOR AND.VACATTNG AND
CLOFING APART OF MAGNOLIA AVENUE, IN LYNII
CALIFORNIA.

The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience of
the people of the City of Lynwood require the vacating and closing
of that particular part.and portion of Magnolia Avenue, in the City
of Lynwood, immediately east of Bullis Road and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the easterly boundary line of
the City of Lynwood distant thereon 18.18 feet southerly
from its intersection with the northerly line of Magnolia
Avenue as shown.on map of Tract No. 8086 recorded in Book
124, pages 40 and 41 of Maps, Records of -Los Angeles
County, California; thence northerly along said boundary
line 18.18 feet; thence westerly along the northerly line
of aforementioned Magnolia Avenue 85.00 feet to the point
of beginning of a curve concave northeasterly having a ra-
dius of 50.00 feet (a redisl line from.said beginning of
curve bears North 19 degrees, 5 minutes and 40 seconds
Fast); thence northwesterly along said curve 78.56 feet to
its Intersection with the easterly line of Bullis Road as
shown on map of said Tract No. 8086 (said Bullis Road
bears south 19 degrees and 4 minutes west); thence south -
erly along the produced easterly line of Bullis Road
51.16 feet; thence South 25 degrees, 55 minutes and 10
seconds East 24.05 feet; thence easterly in a.direct line .
to. the point of beginning.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby declare its intention to close that portion of Magnolia
Avenue lying between Bullis Road and the Easterly City boundary of
the City of Lynwood as described in above Section.
SECTION 3: That no assessment is required or shall be
made for the closing of said portion of Magnolia Avenue in said
City.
SECTION.4: That the exterior boundary of the District of
lands to be affected and benefited by said vacating and closing of
said portion of Magnolia Avenue in said City of Lynwood is all
those lands-lying and being east of Bullis Road and west of the east
boundary line of.said City of�Lynwood and between Magnolia
and the northerly line of Tragt 8086,-recorded in Book 124; at pages
40 and 41 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California.
SECTION 5: That the legal.title for said lands comprising
said portion of Magnolia Avenue herein vacated' shall inure and.accrue
to the owner. or Owners lands.
SECTION 6: That the Street Guner.intendent of the City of
Lynwood shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of
said portion of Magnolia Avenue herein declared to be.vacated, and
particularly descri'U ng said portion of said tagnolia Avenue, at not
more'than 300 feet in distance apart, but not less than three in
all,-notices of the 'passage of That said Notices
shall.be headed.. "Notice of Public Work ", in letters not less than
1 inch in length,.shall be in legible characters and state the
fact of the passage of this Ordinance, its date, and briefly the
proposed vacating and closing of said portion of said Magnolia Ave -
nue, and refer to this Ordinance for'further,particulars.
That the Street Superintendent shall also cause a notice,
similar in substance to be.published by °'f our sued essivei kinsertfons
in the Lynwood Press, &.weekly newspaper of general circulation. .
SECTION 7: That any person interested may make written
objections to said vacation and closing of said portion of Magnolia
Avenue by filing the same within ten days after the expiration of-
the time of said publication of said-Notice.
SECTIUN 8: ghat this proceeding is made in accordance with
the authority vested in the City Council of the City of Lynwood by
virtue of Act 8195, of the General of the State of California.,
in such cases _made and provided.

SECTION 9: That any and all ordinances or parts of ordin
ances insofar as they are in conflict with.the provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 10: That the City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age and adoption of this Ord nahcenand shall cause the same to be pub-
lished once in the �Lynwood Press" a weekly newspaper of general cir-
culation, printed, published, circulated within the City of Lynwood,.
Cal fornia;,'and which is..hereby designated for t ur ose..
