AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8 -24 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CITY CODE REGARDING
RESERVED PARKING SPACES
WHEREAS, Section 8 -24 of the Greencastle City Code lists all reserved parking spaces
within the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS, certain parking spaces were reserved adjacent to the previous City Hall location
at the corner of Indiana and Walnut Streets; and
WHEREAS, the City Hall and Police Station are no longer at that location, and therefore, it is
no longer necessary to reserve those parking spaces.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
Section 8 -24, Schedule of Reserved Parking Spaces, is hereby amended with the following change to
the reserved spaces on Indiana Street. The Ordinance currently reads:

at all times
NOW THEREFORE be it further ordained that all other reserved parking spaces listed in
Section 8 -24 shall remain in full force and effect.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
