AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA
TRANSFERRING CERTAIN LANDS FROM ZONE RI, AS ES-
TABLISHED BY SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE NO. 285 OF
SAID CITY, INTO ZONE M2 AS ESTABLISHED BY SEC_
TION 9 OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 285.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYN`P`OOD, CALIFORNIA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS, TO -WIT:
SECTION 1. That upon a hearing held in the council
chambers of the City Council of the City of Lynwood, Calif-
ornia, upon the 7th day of January, 1941 at the hour of 8:00
P. M. of said day, upon its final report, duly made, noticed
and posted as by law required, in relation to the proposed
change of zone, to-wit: the transfer of
Lots 14 to 26, both inclusive, of Block 5 of
Mod,jeska Park, as per map recorded in Book 9
at pages 142 and 143 of Maps in the office of
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, and being within said City of Lyn-
wood,
now located in Zone RI as established by Section 7 of Ordinance
No. 285 of said City, and placing the same in Zone M2 as esta-
blished by Section 9 of said Ordinance No. 285 of said City,
and the City Council finds that no objections, either written
or oral, have been made to said proposed change of zone of
said lands, and that the convenience and public necessity
and general welfare of the people of the City of Lynwo
California require t}at said lands be changed and transferred
from Zone RI to and placed within zone M2 as reported in said
final report.
SECTION 2:
That Lots 14 to 26, both inclusive, of Block 5 of
Mod,jeska Park, as per Map recorded in Book 9, at
pages 142 and 143 of Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
and being within said City of Lynwood,
are hereby taken from Zone R1 as established by Section 7 of
Ordinance No. 285 of said City, and changed and placed into
Zone M2, as established by Section 9 of said Q rdinance No.
285 of said City.
SECTION 3: That the City Engineer ofsaid City amend the
Zoning map of said City to show that said lands described in
Section 2 of this Ordinance have been changed and transferred
from Zone R1 and placed in Zone M2 of said City, as established
by Ordinance No. 285 of said City.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood, Calif-
ornia is directed to cause a duly authenticated copy of this
Ordinance to be published once after its final passage and
approval, in the "Lynwood Press ", a newspaper of weekly issue,
printed and published in the City of Lynwood, California.

1941.
