Section 1.
That public necessity, safety and public convenience and
the general welfare of the people of the City of Lynwood, California
require the a band onme :t and vacating of that portion of Peach
Street located in said City of Lynwood, hereinafter described in
Section 2 of this ordinance.
Section 2.
That in accordance with requirement of law, the City
Council of said City of Lynwood has passed its resolution of in-
telItion and given notice of the abandonment and vacating of that
portion of Peach Street in said City of Lynwood hereinafter descri-
bed. That there having been no objection thereto and that the
City Council havin found t}ia t such portion of said Peach Street
should be abandoned and vacated, it is hereby ordained that that
portion of Peace Street in said City of Lynwood described as fol-
lows, to wit:
"That portion of Peach Street lying westerly from
a line 30 feet westerly from and parallel with the
I line of Tract 'o. 6473 as shown on map
recorded in Book 70, Page 15 of Mans, Records of
Los iingeles Count=y, Calif or•nia, eAanding from the
southerly line of Lynwood Road to a line 120 feet
southerly from and parallel with the northerly line
of Lot 65 of Modjeska titres as shown on map recorded
ill Book 10, Page 33 of .i1aps, Records of said County,
excepting therefrom those portions of said street
lying between the prolonged northerly and southerly
lines of Louise Street, Josephine Street, Virginia
Street and cones Street (now known as Cedar t,venue)
as said streets are shown on map of aforementioned
1,1odjeska ncres,"
be, and the same is hereby abandoned and vacated from street pur-
poses, and that the same shall no longer be or constitute any
part of said Peach Street.

That the City Engineer of said City shall amend the City
map, showing said abandonment and vacating of said portion of said
'each Street.
Section 4.
The City Cler'> of the City of Lynwood, California, is
directed to cause a duly authenticated copy of this ordinance to
be published once after its final passage and approval, in the
"Lynwood Press," a newspaper of weekly issue, printed and published
in the City of Lyn,vood, California.
