DELINQUENT PENALTIES FOR THE NON- PAY"IENT OF LIGHTING
ASCESSI.i EXTS, :.ND DECLARING AN EIJIERGEIvCY.
Tom° Citr Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as fol-
lows:
SECTICI l
That all unpaid delinquency penal`ies and costs
for t non-caymen` of li= ,-htinv assessments, levied in the Special
Light and iaintenance Districts in said City since 1926, excepting
the 1936 -1937, 193 °, 1939, 1940 and 1941 Special Light Maintenance
Assessment, be and the same are hereby waived, subject to the pro-
visions of the followinT Section.
SECTI 2 : The above waiver shall be applicable only to
suc . ii,_•hting as -es meats, the principal sum of which shall be
paid prior to April 20th, 1942, together with interest thereon
at t_he rate of 7o per annum from July lst, 1940.
SECTION 3: '4 an emergency exists because of the
limitations of time and for the relief of tax payers, the bene-
fits of this Ordinance are urgently demanded because of the pre-

SECTICi: 4 : The Cit, Clerk shall certify to the passage
