AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF` LYMP''OOD, CALIFORNIh,
&.i4E dDIP,G SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 240 OF SAID
CITY, ESTABLISHING BUILDING RESTRICTIONS AND FIRE
ZONES; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 294 OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section. 1.
That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 240 of the City of Lynwood,
California, is hereby amended to read as follows, to wit:
"Section 3. That the entire incorporated area of the
City of Lynwood, California, is herob;• declared to be and is hereby
established as a fire district, and within said fire district so
declared and established, there shall be three fire zones which
shall be known and designated as fire zones No. ONE, No. TWO, and
I o . THREE .
A. FIRE ZONE NO. ONE
Fire zone No. One shall include all that portion of said
fire district extending frorr, the north line of Fernwood Avenue, north
of the Pacific Electric Railway Company's private right of way, north
to the south line of Sanborn avenue, and shall include both sides of
Long Beach Boulevard within the northerly and southerly limits here -
inbef ore defined, and that portion of said fire district as is
bounded on the east by a line 150 feet east of and parallel with the
property line fronting on the east side of Long Beach Boulevard, and
is bounded on the west by a line 150 feet west of and parallel to
the property line fronting on the west side of Long Beach Boulevard.
B. FIRE Z014E NO. TWO
Fire zone No. Two shall include all that portion of said
fire district extending from the south line of Fernwood Avenue, south
of the Pacific Electric Railway Company's private right of way, to
the southerly limits of the City of Lynwood, and from the north line
of Sanborn Avenue to the northerly limits of the City of Lynwood on

both sides of Long Beach Boulevard, and bounded on the east by a
line 150 feet east of and parallel to the property line fronting
on the east side of Long Beach Boulevard, and on the west by a line
150 feet west of and parallel to the property line fronting on the
west side of Long Beach Boulevard.
C. FIRE ZONE NO THREE
Fire zone No. Three shall include all that portion of said
fire district as is not included in fire zones No. One and Two."
Section 2.
That Ordinance No. 294 of the City of Lynwood is hereby
repealed.
Section 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the
"Lynwood Press," a legal newspaper printed and published and cir-
culated in the City of Lynwood, California.
