AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA,
TRANSFERRIE G CERTAIN LAND FROM ZONE RI INTO ZONE
C3 AS ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO. 285 of SAID
CITY OF LYNWOOD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS, TO WIT:
Section 1.
That upon a hearing held before the City Council in the
council chambers of the city hall of the City of Lynwood, California,
upon
the
2nd day
of Se ptember ,
1941,
at the hour
of 8:00 p.m. of
said
day,
upon its
final report,
duly
made, noticed
and posted as
by law required, in relation to the proposed change of zone, to wit:
the transfer of
Lots 6, 7 6 9, and 10, of Block "A" in Tract
12197 as per map recorded in Book 227 at pages
37 and 38 of maps in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, and
located wholly within said City of Lynwood, ..
now in Zone R1 of said City of Lynwood, California, from said Zone
R1, as established by Section 7 of Ordinance No. 285 of City,
into Zone C3, as established by Section 8 of said Ordinance, and
that as a condition precedent to the proposed chang a of zone, the
owner of said lots shall first execute a deed of easement to the City
of Lynwood for alley purposes, giving an easement upon the north 16
feet of said lots. The easterly 135 feet of said easement to become
effective at once; the westerly portion of said easement to become
effective as soon as and when the owner shall cease to use said lots
for his own residential purposes.
And the City Council finds that no objections, either
written or oral, have been made to said proposed change of zone of
said lands, and that the convenience and public necessity and the
general welfare of the people of the City of Lynwood, California
require that said lands be changed and transferred as reported in
said final report.

Section 2.
That
Lots 6, 7 8, 9, and 10, of Block " A " in Tract
12197 as per map recorded in Book 227 at pages
37 and 38 of maps in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, and
located wholly within said City of Lynwood,
now in Zone R1 of said City of Lynwood, California, are hereby
taken from Zone Rl, as established by section 7 of Ordinance No.
285 of said City, and placed into Zone C3, as established by Section
8 of said Ordinance, and that as a condition_ precedent to the pro-
posed change of zone, the owner of said lots shall first execute a
deed of easement to the City of Lynwood for alley purposes, giving
an easement upon the north 16 feet of said lots. The easterly 135
feet of said easement to become effective at once; the westerly
portion of said easement to become effective as soon as and when the
owner shall cease to use said lots for his own residential purposes.
Section 3.
That the City Engineer of said City amend the zoning map
of said City to show that said lands described in Section 2 of this
ordinance have been changed and transferred from Zone RI into Zone
C3, as established by Ordinance No. 285 of said City of Lynwood.
Section 4.
The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood, California, is
directed to cause a duly authenticated copy of this ordinance to be
published once after its final passage and approval in the "Lynwood
Press,` a newspaper of weekly issue, printed and published in the
City of Lynwood, California.
