AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE INCOR-
PORATED CITY OF` LYNWOOD, CALIF'ORivIA, ABANDONING
AND VACATING A PORTION OF PEACH STREET, AN
REPE ORDINANCE NO. 33b OF' SAID CITY.
BE IT ORDAMi'ED BY THE KiiYOR ki D CITY COUNCIL OF THE
INCORPORATED CITY OF LYIWOOD, CALIFORNIA AS FOLLOWS:
Section_ 1.
That public necessity, safety and public convenience,
and the general welfare of the people of the City of Lynwood,
California, require the abandonment and vacating of that portion
of Peach Street located in said City of Lynwood, hereinafter de-
scribed in Section 2 of this ordinance.
Section 2.
That in accordance with requirement of law, the City
Council of said City of Lynwood has passed its resolution of in-
tention and given notice of the abandonment and vacating of that
portion of Peace Street in said City of Lynwooa hereinafter de-
scribed. That there having been no objection thereto and that the
City Council having found that such portion of Baia Peacia Street
should be abandoned and vacated, it is hereby ordained that that
portion of Peach Street in said City of Lynwood described as follows,
to wit:
"That portion of Peach Street lying westerly from
a line 30 feet wester iy from and parallel with the
westerly line of Tract No. 6473 as shown on map
recorded in Book 70, Page 15 of mars, records of
Los Angeles County, California, extending from the
southerly line of Lynwood Road to a line 120 feet
southerly from and parallel with the northerly
line of Lot 65 of b_odjeska Acres as shown on map
recorded in Book 10, Page 33 of maps, records of
said County, excepting therefrom those portions
of said street lying between the prolonged north-
erly and southerly lines of Louise Street, Josephine
Street, Virginia Street and Agnes Street (now known
as Cedar Avenue) as said streets are shown on map
of aforementioned P +iod jeska Acres,"

Section 3.
That the City Engineer of said City shall amend the
City map, showing said abandonment and vacating; of said portion
of said Peacr Street.
Section 4.
That Ordinance No. 335 of the City of Lynwood, California
is hereby repealed.
Section 5.
The City Clergy_ of the City of Lynwood, California, is
directed to cause a duly authenticated copy of this ordinance to
be published once after its final passage and approval, in the
"Lynwoou Press," a newspaper of weehly issue, printed and published
in the City of Lynwooa, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18t day of November, 1941.
