AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE INCOR-
PORE,,TED CITY OF LYNVi�;OD, CALIF'C :NIA, iiBANDONING
AND VAC , iTING is PORTION OF PEACH STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE INCORPORATED CITY OF
LYMNOOD, CALIFORNIA DUES OriDJN AS F01,LOWS:
Section 1:
That public rrecesslty, safety ana public convenience and
the general welfare of the people of the City of Lynwood, California
require th.e abandonment and vacating of that portion of Peach Street
located in said City of Lynwood, hereinafter described in Section 2
of this ordinance.
Section 2:
That in accordance with requirement of law, the City
Council of said
City of Lynwood
has passed its resolution of inten-
tion
to abandon
and vacate that
portion of Peach Street in said
City
of Lynwood
hereinafter described. That due notice thereof has
boen
published
and posted as by
law required. That a hearing on
said
resolution
of intention as
noticed was had before the City
Council of said City of Lynwood.
That at said hearing no valid objection to the proposed
partial abandonment of Peach Street was interposed, and the City
Council finding from all of the evidence submitted that said por-
tion of Peach Street proposed to be abandoned as described in said
resolution of intention, is unnecessary for present or prospedtive
public purposes, and that the public necessity, safety and oublic
convenience, and the general welfare of the people of the City of
Lynwood, California require the proposed abandonment and vacating
of Baia portion of Peach Street; it is hereby ordained that that
portion of Peacn Street in said City of Lynwood, California, de-
scribed as follows, to wit:

"That portion of Peach Street lying westerly from
a line 30 feet westerly from and parallel with the
westerly lire of Tract !'o- 64 as shown on map
recorded in Book 73, page 15 of P;ia?s, records of
Los Angeles County, California, extending from the
southerly line of Lynwood Road to a line 120 feet
southerly from and parallel with the northerly line
of Lot 65 of Yodjeska Acres as shown on map recorded
in Book 10, Page 33 of yaps, records of said County,
exceptinU therefrom those portions of said street
lying betwean the prolonged northerly and southerly
lines of Louise Street, Josephine Street, Virginia
Street and _.fi n nes Street (nosy '__nown as Cedar Avenue)
as said streets are shown on map of aforementioned
Yiodjesfa acres,
as shown by map designated as Exhibit "h" in said proceedings in
the office of the City Clerk of said city; be, and ti-le same is
hereby abandoned and vacated from street purposes, and that the
same shall no longer be or constitiite any part of said Peach Street.
Section 3:
That the City Engineer of said City shall amend the City
map, s?iowing said abandonment and vacating; of said portion of said
Peach Street.
Section 4:
That Ordinance No. 356 of the City of Lynwood, California
is hereby repealed.
Section 5:
The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood, California, is
directed to cause a duly authenticated cop- of this ordinance to
be nublis'ned once after its final passage and approval, in the
"Lynwood Press," a newspaper of weekly issue, printed and published
in the City of Lyn %ood, California.
