ORDINANCE NO. 372
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA
TRANSFERRING CERTAIN LANDS FROM ZONE R1 INTO ZDNE
M2, AND TRANSFERRING CERTAIN OTHER LANDS FROM ZONE
C3 INTO ZONE M2.
THE CITY COUECIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNI DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS, TO WIT:
Section 1.
That upon a hearing held in the council chambers of the
City Council of the City of Lynwood, California, upon the 2�ci day
of sine, . 1942, at the hour of 8:00 o f clock p.m. of said
{
day, upon its final report, duly made, noticed and posted as by
law required, in relation to the proposed change of zone, to wit:
the transfer of
Lots 29 to 45, both inclusive, in Block 5,
Modjeska Park, as per map recorded in Book
9 at pages 142 and 143 of maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California; and
Lots 158 to 161, both inclusive, of Tract 921,
as per map recorded in Book 18 at pages 106
and :107 of maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
now in Zone R1 of said City of Lynwood, California, from said Zone
R1, as established by Section 7 of Ordinance No. 285 of said City,
into Zone M2, as established by Section 9 of said Ordinance, and
that
Lots 46 to 60, both inclusive, in Block 5,
Modjeska Park, as per map recorded in Book
9 at pages 142 and 143 of maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California,
now in Zone C3 of said City of Lynwod, California, be rezoned and
transferred from Zone C3, as established by Section 8 of Ordinance
No. 285 of said City, and placed into Zone M2, as established by
Section 9 of said Ordinance.

And the City Council finds that no objections, either
written or oral, have been made to said proposed change of zone of
said lands, and that the convenience and public necessity and the
general welfare of the people of the City of Lynwood, California
require that said lands be changed and transferred as reported in
said final report.
Section 2.
That
Lots 29 to 45, both in

map recorded in Book
of maps, in the office
of Los Angeles County,
Lots 158 to 161, both inclusive, of Tract 921,
as per map recorded in Book 18 at pages 106
and 107 of maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
now in Zone R1 of said City of Lynwood, California, are hereby taken
from Zone Rl, as established by Section 7 of Ordinance No. 285 of
said City, and placed into Zone Y2, as established by Section 9
of said Ordinancep and that
Lots 46 to 60, both inclusive, of Block 5
ModjeskL; Park , as per man recorded in Book
9 at pa6as 142 and 143 of maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of Los tngelesCounty,
California,
now in Zone C3 of said City of Lynwood, California, are hereby
taken from Zone C3, as established by Section 8 of Ordinance No.
285 of said City, and placed into Zone M2, as established by
Section 9 of said Ordinance.
Section 3.
That the City Engineer of said City amend the zoning map
of said City to shove that said lands described in Section 2 of
this ordinance have been changed and transferred from Zone R1 into
Zone M2, and from Zone C3 into Zone TA2, as established by Ordinance
No. 285 of said City of Lynwood, California.

Section 4.
The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood, California, is
directed to cause a duly authenticated copy of this ordinance to
be published once after its final passage and approval,in the
"Lynwood Press," a newspaper of weekly issue, printed and published
In the City of Lynwood, California.
