MEDINA
ORDINANCE NO.229
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC-
TION 320.25 OF THE MEDINA CITY
CODE REGARDING THE REMOVAL
OF PUBLIC NUISANCES
The City Council of the City of Medina
ordains as follows': .
Section 1:
The Code of Ordinances of the City of
Medina is amended by deleting the
stricken materials and adding the un-
derlined materials as follows:
320.25. Abatement of Nuisance and
Assessment of Cost. When any nuisance
is found to exist, except under 330.05
Subd. 14 of the Medina City Code, thr
City Clerk/Treasurer or a designated
representative shall order The owner or
occupant thereof to remove the same,
at the expense of the owner or occupant,
within a period not to exceed 10 days,
the exact time to be specified in the
notice. Upon failure of the owner or oc-
cupant to abate the nuisance, the City
Council shall order the Chief of Police to
cause said nuisance to be abated, to cer-
tify the cost thereof to the City
`: Clerk/Treasurer, and the City
Clerk/Treasurer shall certify said costs
to the County Auditor to be extended on
-Tr the tax roll of the County against the
real estate from which the nuisance has
" been abated, all In 'accordance with
Minnesota Statutes Sections 145.22 and
145.23 and Section 412.22E
