RESOLUTION NO. 82 -9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING MONIES
FROM THE CITY GENERAL FUND TO A SPECIAL
FUND FOR PAYMENT TO LOS ANGELES COUNTY FOR
DEFICIENCIES IN THE LYNWOOD HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 81 -102 appropriated $36,899 to
reimburse L.A. County;
WHEREAS, the amount appropriated in said Resolution is short
by $2,039 in accordance with the final audit;
WHEREAS, the amount of $38,938 supersedes all prior lia-
bilities owned to the County;
WHEREAS, this Amendment No. 1 is a revised continuation of
the above Resolution:
WHEREAS, the final audit report findings dated December
17, 1981 have been reviewed by Los Angeles County staff and Lynwood
City staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby resolve:
SECTION 1
a. That the final finding of the L.A. County audit re-
quires an adjustment in the repayment plan;
b. The liability of the City of Lynwood should be $38,93'8;
C. That the staff of the County is in agreement with the
amount of $38,93.8 as the City's liability.
SECTI 2.
a. That the previous amount of $36,899 is hereby increased
by $2,039 and appropriated from the City of Lynwood's
General Fund to a special account, for p'ayment to
Los Angeles County;
b. That six payments have been made totalling $6,000 yield-
ing a balance remaining of $32,938 payable in the
following manner:

c. That the next payment of $1,000 be made January 22, 1982.
