A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONDUCT -A PUBLIC
HEARING TO'ASCERTAIN WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING
MAINTAINED ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY
KNOWN AS 10234 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD, CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Lynwood has
recommended that this City Council find that certain premises
within the City of Lynwood may be maintained in such a way as
to comsti a nuisance; and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 21
of the City Code of the City of Lynwood, pursuant to which
nuisances maybe abated; and
WHEREAS, the conditions on said property which may
constitute a nuisance are:
1. Ten (10) inoperable or dismantled vehicles stored
on property.
2. Overgrown with weeds, trash and debris, miscellaneous
auto parts scattered throughout the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
1. Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the City
Manager, this council hereby finds and determines
that the following described property may be presently
being maintained in such a manner as to constitute
a nuisance. Such property 'is described as Lot-1-02 - -- --- ---
of Tract 4936, generally'known as 10234 Long Beach
Boulevard, City of Lynwood.
2. The method(s) by which said conditions could be
abated include:
a. Remove all dismantled or inoperable vehicles
from property.
b. Remove all trash, debris, overgrown weeds and
miseellaneous auto parts.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Council therefore
declares its intention to conduct a public hearing, pursuant to
Chapter 21 of the City Code of'Lynwood to ascertain whether the
above:,d`esdri.bed.'conditions constitute a public nuisance, the
abatement - of - which is appropriate under the police power of the
City of Lynwood, and
The City Council hereby fixes the hour of 7:30 PM, on
February 16; 1982..as the.time and the City Council Chambers, 11330
Bullis Road, as the place for said public hearing; and the City
Clerk is authorized and directed to serve and post certified
copies of this resolution in the manner set forth in Section 22 -A.4
of the Lynwood City Code.
