A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING RESOLUTION 2843, THE PERSONNEL
RULES AND REGULATIONS RESOLUTION, TO IMPLEMENT
SECTION 1094.6 OF THE CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted Resolution
No. 81 -148 making applicable the provisions df the Code of Civil Procedure
Section 1094.6 to administrative decisions; and
WHEREAS „Rule XV of the Personnel Rules and Regulations specifies the
City's procedure for disciplinary actions and does not currently require
notification of the applicability of Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil
- Procedure in written 3e`cis -§ and
WHEREAS, The City Attorney and Association representatives have
reviewed the revisions to Rule XV as attached; and
WHEREAS, The Personnel Board at its January 21, 1982 meeting recom-
mended the adoption of the revised Rule XV as attached; and
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Lynwood has studied the
revisions to Rule XV of the Personnel Rules and Regulations to implement
Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure and wish to adopt same.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve that Resolution No. 2843, the Personnel Rules and Regulations, is
amended to revise Rule XV as attached.
