RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD REGARDING FAREBOX RECOVERY
REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT
ACT ARTICLE 4.5 FUNDS.
WHEREAS: The City Council of the City of Lynwood
is desirous of providing a Dial A Ride transit service for its
elderly and handicapped residents.
WHEREAS:- funds to assist in providing this program
are available through 'transportation Development Act Article 4.5
funds.
WHEREAS: The City Council is aware of the 10% Farebox
Recovery requirement of Article 4.5 Grants.
WHEREAS: the. City Council of the City of Lynwood has
supported the Dial A Ride system in past years.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the City
of Lynwood, that it agrees to make up any shortfall in the required
Farebox Recovery ratio or any cost overrun with local funds.
ADOPTED this 2nd day of February, 1982.
