RESOLUTION NO. s2 -23 A RESOLUTION OF.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DETERMINING THAT A NUISANCE IS BEING MAINTAINED ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, GENERALL ` KNOWN AS 10234 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD, AND DIRECTING THE ABATEMENT THEREOF. WHEREAS, pursuant to'the recommendation of the City Manager of the City of Lynwood, this City Council has previously found that certain premises, hereinafter more fully desc'ribed, are presently being maintained in such a manner as to constitute a nuisance; and WHEREAS, in light of said finding, this Council adopted a resolution declaring its intention to conduct a public hearing to ascertain whether a nuisance is being maintained on said prop- erty; and, WHEREAS, this Council has held a hearing,and has heard and considered all relevant evidence and testimony from all interested persons desiring to be heard concerning the conditions constituting the alleged nuisance and the proposed rehabilitation, removal and demolition thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: Section 1 . The property described as Lot 102 of Tract 4936;° generally known as 10234 Long Beach Boulevard, Lynwood, California, is hereby found and declared to be a public nuisance as defined in Chapter 21 of the Lynwood - City Code'. Section 2 . The particular conditions,of said property which are hereby found and determined to . cons i_tute a nuisance are described as follows: 1. Inoperable or dismantled vehicles on vacant lot. 2. Trash, debris and'overgrowth of vegetation. 3. Miscellaneous junk car parts scattered over the property. T . Section 3 . It is further found and determined that, in ; order - - to - 'abate said nuisance it will be-necessary that the following steps be taken:. 1. Remove all dismantled or inoperable vehicles from property. 2. Remove all trash; debris, and overgrowth of vegetation. 3. Remove all miscellaneous junk car parts, etc. Section 4 The owner of said property, Mrs. Agnes Harutunian, is ordered and directed to take said steps and to abate said nuisance. t Section 5 . If the property owner fails-to take the steps as provided in this. resolution within thirty (30) days after the date this resolution is posted upon the property, the City of,.Lynwood shall immediately cause the same to be abated by City personnel or private contractor and such personnel or persons under contract are expressly authorized to enter upon the premises for such purpose.
