A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DETERMINING
THAT CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS ARE BENE-
FICIAL TO THE ALAMEDA PROJECT AND
CONSENTING TO A REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AND ECONOMIC RESOURCES CORPO-
RATION.
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency desires to make
certain public improvements in the Alameda Redevelopment Project
Area to support an expansion of the Watts Industrial Park; and
WHEREAS, said public improvements are of benefit to the
Alameda Project Area and to the redevelopment thereof in accordance
with the Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, said public improvements are not included in the
City of Lynwood's 1981 -82 Capital Improvements Program Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency desires to accom-
pli-dh these public improvements as soon as possible and Economic
Resources Corporation agrees to accept from the Agency
in order to complete said improvements; and
WHEREAS, no other reasonable means of financing said im-
provements are available to the community;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby resolve:
" SECTION "`r It is hereby found - and determined, pursuant
to Health and Safety Code Section 33445, that the proposed public
improvements are of benefit to the Alameda Redevelopment Project
Area and that no other reasonable means of financing are available
to the community.
SECTION 2 : The Reimbursement Agreement attached hereto as
Exhibit A is hereby approved and consent given to the Lynwood Re-
development Agency to enter into said Agreement with Economic Re-
sources Corporation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of
February 1982.
