A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES AND PROJECT FUNDING
LEVELS FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT PROGRAM - YEAR VIII.
WHEREAS, the City entered into an Agreement with the County
of Los Angeles on November 10, 1981 regarding cooperation in under -
taking acti.vit.ies authorized by the Housing and Community Development
Act of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS,'the City has complied with citizen participation
process requirements, and now must prepare certain documentation for
the County so that the County may compile its annual application
for Community Development Block Grant Funding;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION l: That all documentation required of the City
by the County of Los Angeles for the preparation of an annual appli-
cation for $547,097 of Community Development Block Grant funding
be prepared.
SECTION 2: That the Mayor, City Manager, and Community
Development Director be authorized to execute any required documen-
tation for the application and projects' implementation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of
March , 1982.
