RESOLUTION NO. 82 -41
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD.APPROVING.AND ADOPTING SUPPLEMENT NO. 8
LOCAL AGENCY /STATE AGREEMENT.NO. 07 -5250, FOR
THE PROGRAM OF LOCAL AGENCY /FEDERAL -AID URBAN
SYSTEM "PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND
APPROPRIATING "THE REQUIRED FUNDS TO THE 1981 -82
BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
continually intends to improve and enhance :public safety; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has applied for Federal -
Aid Urban System Projects funds to improve Century Boulevard
between Atlantic Avenue and Long Beach Freeway in the City of
Lynwood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Lynwood that:
SECTION..l The City Council approves the application
for Federal -Aid Urban Act Funds for.the improvement of Century
Boulevard.
SE CTION 2 . The City Council adopts Local.Agency /State
Agreement No. 07 -5250, Supplement No. 8 for the.improvement of
Century Boulevard between Atlantic Avenue and Long.Beach Freeway
in the City of.Lynwood in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article II
of said agreement.
SECTION.3 The City Council hereby authorizes the
City Manager to make the following appropriations:

. SECTION 4 . This resolution shall take effect,
immediately upon its adoption.
