A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING THE MANAGEMENT EXEMPT SALARY
SCHEDULE TO DELETE ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER FROM
THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TITLE

WHEREAS, the City does not presently have an Assistant City Manager due
to the appointment of Mr. Gomez as City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has designated the Fire Chief /Director of Public
Safety, and in his absence the Parks and Recreation Director, to act as City
Manager when the need arises; and
WHEREAS, the management exempt salary schedule contains the job title
Director of Community Development /Assistant City Manager which requires revi-
sion;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1 : The 1981 -82 management exempt salary schedule is amended
to delete the Assistant City Manager designation from the
Director of Community Development title.
SECTION 2 : This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adop-
tion.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of April 1982.
